It's okay to talk to yourself. People may think you're strange but it's really going to help create a powerful, accurate, and legal narrative for your report.

Use Descriptive Language

Clearly describe actions, people, and surroundings to provide context and detail for the narrative.

Include Contextual Details

Mention environmental factors, conditions, and relevant background information that enrich the narrative.

Repeat Critical Information

Repeat names, license plate numbers, addresses, or other identifiers to ensure the AI captures them accurately.

Spell Out Key Terms

Spell complex words, acronyms, or unfamiliar names to prevent transcription errors.

Employ Start and End Markers

Use standardized phrases to mark the beginning and end of narrative segments (e.g., "Narrative Begin" and "Narrative End") for clearer segmentation.

When supplementing with direct dictation, dictate in a Logical Sequence

Structure the narration logically, starting with an overview, followed by detailed actions and concluding with outcomes.

Use Clear and Steady Intonation

Maintain a moderate pace with deliberate pauses at natural brakes to help ensure accurate transcription.

Correct Mistakes Immediately

Clearly state corrections as soon as errors are noticed, using phrases like "Correction" followed by the correct information.

Integrate Collaborative Statements

Encourage witnesses and fellow officers to provide their accounts and repeat key details for corroboration.

Provide Guided Prompts

Use prompts during interactions (e.g., “Please spell out the license plate”) to ensure important information is captured.

Reiterate Critical Information

Confirm details provided by others by repeating them, ensuring that the AI system captures consistent data.

Follow a Consistent Communication Protocol

Use standardized language and markers every time to help the AI recognize and segment information accurately.
