Release Objectives: This release focuses on making CommsCoach smoother, clearer, and more intuitive; reducing clicks, removing confusion, and helping supervisors and trainers get to the information they need faster.
Call & Radio Evaluations / Feedback Reviews
Clearer Identification of Training (Sandbox) Feedback
Training/Sandbox feedback reports now include a clear on-screen label, so you can easily distinguish practice material from real evaluation data. Any actions that don’t apply to Sandbox items are automatically disabled to avoid mistakes.
Benefit: Eliminates confusion between training content and real performance data.
Search Events Using Your CAD Record Number
You can now search events using your CAD/System ID number directly from the event list, making it easier to jump to the exact incident you want to review.
Benefit: Faster incident lookup and quicker visible correlation between CAD activity and reviewer activity.
Instant Updates to Your Feedback Counter
When feedback is added or deleted, the feedback icon in the navigation updates immediately. There is no refresh needed.
Benefit: Real-time awareness of new feedback waiting for review.
Open PDFs Directly in CommsCoach
PDF attachments now open directly inside CommsCoach in a new tab or overlay.
Benefit: No more downloading files just to read them, making for a faster, cleaner review experience.
Streamlined Review Workflow
We simplified the review panel language and removed unnecessary labels. In addition, when you move to the next event, the modal window now closes automatically.
Benefit: Fewer clicks and faster reviewing during busy shifts.
Fixes & Stability Improvements
Feedback drill-downs now correctly display all reports from the last six months.
Newly created feedback reports can now be opened immediately without errors.
Completing a review on events with missing evaluation items no longer causes the screen to freeze.
General event feedback now appears instantly—no page refresh required.
Agencies can again add microlearning content without interruptions.

Accurate Voice Indicators During Simulations
The on-screen speaking indicator now accurately reflects when audio is active during simulations.
Benefit: Better awareness for trainees and supervisors during simulated scenarios
Correct Display of Training-Enrolled Employees
Employees currently enrolled in training phases will no longer appear in evaluation analytics or statistics.
Benefit: Cleaner evaluation data and improved accuracy when measuring team performance.
