Getting Started with HIRE

What is this?

The HIRE tool is a standalone GovWorx product that provides customers with a more accurate depiction of the competency levels of applicants they have in the hiring process to support their retention and success rates.

Why am I learning this?

This module shows you what the HIRE tool can do, how to track applicants, and gives you a peek into what the Applicant will experience from their perspective.

What will I learn?

By the end of this training, you will be able to…

Pre-Hire Dashboard

From the Home Icon, select the Pre-Hire tab

Use the navigation arrows to scroll to the desired Pre-Hire Phase

Date Range Selector (invited date)

Date Range - used to filter the dashboard based on the invited date.

Report Options

  • (Executive-Level) Summary Report for executive level where it summarizes either pre-hire phase assessments individually or as an aggregate

  • Export - This is a detailed report for export which provides data at the individual applicant level.

Benchmark Options

GovWorx vs Calibrated User buttons

  • GovWorx - Manually-set defaults provided by GovWorx

    • Use Cases: utilize to look at a "what-if" view, that is separate from agency-specific calibration results.

  • Calibrated - Benchmarks calculated from Calibrated User assessments

    • Use Cases: utilize when comparing candidates against the calculated benchmark based on the results of their calibration users.

Adjust the GovWorx Benchmarks panel

  • Gear to Adjust GovWorx Benchmarks - Use the edit controls to adjust each benchmark for a given score to align with your center's preferred thresholds. You will need to click "Save" in order for these changes to take affect. If you want to go back to the originals, click the "revert" icon.

Calibration User Button - A Calibration User is an existing employee whose Calibration Assessment performance helps create the calibration benchmark.

Candidate Status

  • Candidate Name

  • Tracking ID (optional)

  • Application Status - Pending, Accepted, In Progress, Withdrawn, Cancelled, Completed

  • Application Manager (optional)

  • Invited Date

  • Accepted Date

  • Actions

    • Edit or Resend Invite

    • Download - download invite, download candidate packet

    • Cancel - Cancel a Candidate's application and remove them from further consideration

    • Withdrawn - Applicant has withdrawn application and wants to end candidacy

    • Archive - Archive a Candidate's application assessment results

    • Delete - Delete an Invitation created in error
