What is this?

The HIRE tool is a standalone GovWorx product that provides customers with a more accurate depiction of the competency levels of applicants they have in the hiring process to support their retention and success rates.

Why am I learning this?

This module shows you what the HIRE tool can do, how to track applicants, and gives you a peek into what the Applicant will experience from their perspective.

What will I learn?

By the end of this training, you will be able to…

  • Access the Pre-Hire dashboard

  • Invite a Candidate/User

  • Explain Candidate Invitation, Browser Requirements, and Login process

  • View Pre-Hire Statistics dashboard

Note: A Calibration User is an existing employee who has been slated to go through the New Applicant Assessment process in order to create/evaluate benchmark performance.

How to invite a candidate to your assessment

Select…

1 - Home

2 - Pre-HIre tab

3 - Invite User

Fill Candidate Details:

  • First and Last Name

  • Email

  • Hiring Phase

Click Send Invite

Candidate receives email invitation

The candidate receives a Welcome verification message.

Additional emails are triggered for the Candidate.

Candidate logs in, changes password, and logs in.

Note: Passwords must be at least 20 characters in length.

Is the assessment timed?

Yes, the assessment allows for three hours.

Will I be on camera?

Yes, the assessment will capture the applicant throughout completion.

Will I see my assessment score?

Applicants will not have access to scores. (Agency Dependent)
