šŸ”§ Integration Setup

To begin testing the Training CAD integration, ensure that the data agent connector is configured to point to the Training CAD database instance. This is the foundational requirement for data flow.

āœ… Configuration Steps

  1. Enable the Training CAD Toggle:

    • In the Simulate app settings, toggle ā€œUse Training CADā€ to the ON position.

      • When it’s off it, the toggle will say ā€œUsing Simulate CAD Screenā€

  1. Verify User ID Mapping:

    • Confirm that the CommsCoach user currently signed in has a Personnel ID that matches the Call Taker ID in the Training CAD database.

šŸ“ž Call Completion Requirement

To ensure CAD incidents are successfully pulled into the system:

  • The Sim Call must be completed/ended

    • End the sim call within the window 5-minutes before and 10-minutes after the training CAD closes to prevent users from leaving the call active while waiting for an event to appear.

  • The call must be closed out in the Training CAD system.

    • Only completed calls are fetched by the connector to guarantee full visibility into the training incident.

    • Unfinished calls will not appear and may create gaps in testing scenarios.

  • Completed calls will display events and evaluations in CommsCoach.
