Upload your Guidecards into Knowledge |
Guidecards are a foundational element of ASSIST. They define:
Using the Knowledge feature, you upload Guidecards as PDF documents. Once uploaded and published by the admin:
|
Step 1: Go to the Knowledge tab on the home page From the homepage, open the Knowledge tab
|
Step 2: Add a new folder for your Guidecards, optional to separate by Law/Fire/EMS
Click the three dots next to the parent folder and add a new folder. Best practice is to separate out Law, Fire, and EMS guide cards into their own folder. Other Knowledge types besides Guidecards will also have their own folders. Instruction cards (CPR, Tourniquet Application, etc.) should also be their own folder
|
Step 3: Create knowledge
Once you have added the desired folder, click the three dots on that folder to Create Knowledge. This is where you will upload all of your Guidecards in one PDF document (right now it’s one at a time but will soon be all at once)
|
Step 4: View Assist content for Guidecards
Once your Guidecards have been uploaded, they will be separated out into different sections. Go into the “Processed Content” tab and then the “Assist Content” subtab to see how AI processed your Guidecard details. This is what Assist will use to show Guidecards during live calls.

Frequently Asked Questions |
Can I upload multiple versions?
Yes. Each upload creates a new version that can be activated independently. If the new version makes slight changes to question prompts, the system will recognize the underlying question is the same and will not break evaluations. |
Can I edit my Guidecard after I have uploaded?
Yes. You can edit all parts of the Guidecard as well as keep the card in draft or published mode. If in draft mode, it will not show in Assist. Assist will always use whichever version of the Guidecard is activated. |
