Configure Translation Tool

If your agency is interested in using translation capabilities, your IT lead will need to set up the Translation Tool. Each agency will have their own preferences for how the GovWorx language line is set up on their PBX. We recommend setting up a key on the PBX to patch in the GovWorx Translation Tool.

Step 1: Go to Settings in Assist

From ASSIST, click the user initials on the bottom left. Click “Go to settings” to open the admin settings

Step 2: Go to Language Line within Settings

Click on “Language Line” in the left sidebar

Step 3: Generate number

In order to set up a valid GovWorx Translation Tool, admins must generate a unique phone number. This will be automatically generated by the application once pressed.

Step 4: Set up Supported Languages

Agencies can select up to 10 languages that are supported by the GovWorx Translation Tool. If a user calls in using one of these languages, the application can detect that language and translate. If a user calls in not using one of these languages, the application will not be able to detect it.

Step 5: Add Your Phone Numbers

Agencies will need to add all phone numbers that should be recognized by the GovWorx Translation Tool
