Signoff Flows automate the documentation of the review and acknowledgement of Feedback Reports, Training Observations, Task Lists, and Phase Enrollments.

A level allows the workflow to acknowledge the hierarchy of the distinct users or user types participating in the sign off process.

On a signoff flow, all signature requests on a level are sent together/in parallel. While levels are sent in sequence: the signature requests are not sent to level 2 signatory until all required signatures on level 1 are complete.

Business requirements around whether a signatory should even see a report before other signatories have signed off will drive how many levels and who is on each level.

Each Level in a signoff flow shows a single set of signors. For example, Level 1 will generally show the Signor and Author at a minimum. These notifications are sent out simultaneously and once signed, approved, and resolved, a next level may be activated.

A Level 2, for example, will only see the report once Level 1 is completed. This prevents people on higher levels from seeing or becoming involved in Level 1 reports before they are resolved.

If a center had a business rule that said that the Director of QA, Sally Jones, must sign off all QA feedback reports after the Subject, Author and Shift Supervisor signoff, then you would add a level 2 with Sally Jones on it.

Alternatively, if the the center had a business rule that said that the Director of QA, Sally Jones should be sent for review all QA feedback reports after the Subject, Author and Shift Supervisor signoff, then you would add a level 2 with Sally Jones on it, but marked as review only.
