Connecting Caliber CAD (Standard XML) to GovWorks
Caliber sends incident data directly to GovWorx over a secure internet connection using the CAD NG Standard XML format.
How It Works
Caliber is configured on their end to push outbound XML webhook events to a GovWorx-hosted endpoint unique to your agency. As incidents are created or updated in Caliber, the data flows to GovWorx automatically.
Data received includes:
Incident ID and type
Call time and timestamps
Unit and resource assignments
CAD notes and comments
Location information
Incident Creator Details
<IncidentCreatorUserName>
<IncidentCreatorStation>
Setup Requirements
On the Caliber side:
Caliber administrator configures an outbound webhook pointed to the agency-specific GovWorx URL
The URL includes a tenant path unique to your agency
On the GovWorx side:
GovWorx provisions the receiving endpoint for the agency
A shared authentication secret is configured to verify requests are coming from the correct Caliber instance
